NES 
The New Economic School in Moscow

The New Economic School (NES) in Moscow, is an economics graduate program that brings modern economics to Russia. We offer a two-year program that leads to a Masters Degree in Economics. To see our mission statement, click here .

NES has begun to recruit a permanent, full-time faculty. To read more about this "second stage" of NES, click here. 

Sergei Guriev was our first appointment, and we have just recruited Stas Anatoliev (Wisconsin) and Kirill Sossunov (ANU). NES actively recruits new faculty Click here to see a copy of our ad in JOE.  We also bring visitors from leading economics programs throughout the world.
