Welcome to my home page. You can find information related to my research, teaching, and service. Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics of the Pennsylvania State University, and Director of Research at The New Economic School in Moscow. I am curently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Eurasian and East European Research. I am also the American Editor of the journal Economic Systems .
My research focuses on the economics of transition. I have a list of
